'These are relatively raw recordings of some performances of ours over the years. I selected these performances and these recordings to demonstrate an average Anawan set; alive and free, not perfect by any means, but very real. We hope you enjoy!

The oldest is 'Patience', taken from the Carriage Barn at Bennington College in Spring 2012. That performance included Will Lulofs, Jessica Green, Michael Chinworth, Alice Tolan-Mee, Eliza McKelway, and myself.

Then there's 'I've Begun to Flower', taken from the Greene Space in NYC, January 2013. This was for the Battle of the Boroughs. Here we have Anastasia Clarke, Eliza McKelway, Michael Chinworth, Ethan Woods, and myself.

There's a recording of 'Colin', which I performed solo here at Sunny's in Red Hook, Brooklyn, November 2013. Thanks Richard for this recording.

Several tracks are from a recording at Buoy Gallery in Kittery, ME, December 2013. At that concert we had Ethan Woods, Eliza McKelway, Alice Tolan-Mee, and myself. Thanks to Ben Seretan for this recording.

Several other tracks are from a performance that, as of this writing, happened 20 hours ago at Glasslands in Brooklyn, NY. During that performance we had Richard Aufrichtig, Eliza McKelway, Alice Tolan-Mee, Ethan Woods, and myself. Thanks to Richard for this recording.

These tracks are not and will not be professionally mastered, take them as they are, salty and rusty. Thank you.
